We're proud to introduce the first* full-blown, global Signature Series release for the newest and youngest Discmania Sky Team member: Cadence Burge's Neo Horizon Essence, coined the Astral Bloom.

Everybody loves the Essence

Yeah that's a bold statement, but if you don't, our guess is you haven't tried it yet. It is a somewhat understable control driver with great glide and highly ergonomic rim feel. These aspects make the Essence one of the best-selling discs we have ever made.

It's also a go-to fairway driver for Cadence, who wanted to create her Signature Series in Neo Horizon plastic, topped off with a sweet floral triple-foil stamp design.

A disc to be considered for every shot

Outside the biggest arms of the sport, the Essence serves a level of versatility so robust that you truly could use it on every tee shot by just adjusting your angle and power. It's an 8-speed that flies (and glides) like a midrange and has the level of control to boot.

It turns over easily on full-power shots, holds hyzer-flip lines for players still building arm speed, and finishes with just enough fade to sit down straight instead of burning over. It is a forgiving and reliable hyzer flip machine out of the box. Essence is good for all skill levels and it's just a fun disc to watch gliding for days.

Grippy & pretty

The Neo plastic is the everyday premium blend from our Evolution line. Medium stiffness, grippy out of the box and durable enough to maintain the flight characteristics for a good bit, while still allowing gradual seasoning over time. It's not very often you see Neo discs offered with the sweet Horizon effect and the rounded triple stamp design on these Astral Blooms compliment the look perfectly.

Support for the next generation of disc golf

Despite her young age, Cadence already has 80+ career wins under her belt, including a Disc Golf Pro Tour win at the 2025 Discmania Challenge. Raised in a disc golf family, she picked up a disc before she could ride a bike - her dad had her throwing at 3 years old in Huntsville, Alabama.

By 2022 she was PDGA Amateur World Champion. Eagle McMahon spotted her game first and put her on Avery Jenkins's radar, which is how a 12-year-old ended up on Team Discmania. She's climbed the ranks ever since - Shield Team, then Signature Team, now one of the faces of Discmania's next generation and in the Sky Team.
