After a few years away, Kona Star Montgomery is coming home to Team Innova! In her last season on the Team, she won the Waco Annual Charity Open by an unheard-of margin of 12 strokes. With Innova discs back in her hand, expect more magic from Kona in the coming seasons.
For her Team Champion Series disc, it is no surprise that Kona chose her old favorite Mid-Range, the Star Mako3. She is looking to make a splash in 2025 and take a bite out of the competition.
The Mako3 is the newest version of the remarkably straight flying Innova Mako. This midrange disc is the perfect solution for anyone who wants a straight flyer with very limited fade. The Mako3 is slightly faster than the original Mako.
Star is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star plastic offers the same outstanding durability of our regular Champion plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro plastic. Star discs have the same flight characteristics as Champion discs but are slightly less firm.
